Yemen: Houthis claim to have hit military and oil facilities in Saudi Arabia

Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthi rebels said today they had attacked 14 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in various Saudi locations, including the Aramco oil plant in Jeddah.

This information has not yet been confirmed by Saudi Arabia. Aramco, which was contacted by Reuters, said it would respond at the earliest opportunity.

A Houthi military spokesman said in a televised press conference that the rebels had attacked military targets in Riyadh, Jeddah, Abha, Jizan and Najran. According to him, Aramco refineries in Jeddah were targeted by four unmanned aircraft, King Abdullah International Airport in the same city as well as King Khaled military base in Riyadh.
