Yemen’s Houthis threaten to attack Israeli ships in the Red Sea

The leader of Houthi her Yemeni vowed today that his organization would continue the attacks against him Israel and that his forces would search for Israeli ships in the Red Sea and the Bab el Madeb Strait.

We keep our eyes open to continuously monitor and search for any Israeli ship in the Red Sea, especially in Bab al-Madeb and near the territorial waters of Yemen,” Abdulmali al-Houthi said in a televised speech.

The Iranian-backed group has launched several rocket and drone attacks against Israel in recent weeks, raising fears of a regional war between Israel and Hamas. The Houthis control northern Yemen and the country’s Red Sea coast.
