Completing your studies at the university level is the dream of thousands of people. But reaching the goal is not always easy, whether due to financial reasons, lack of support, motivation, guidance or other factors.
However, there are people who, despite adversity, struggle all their lives to obtain their university degree. As did Don Osvaldo Ojeda, an 83-year-old grandfather, who concluded his studies with honors at the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences of the National University of the Northeast, in Argentina.
Don Osvaldo, a chapista by trade and father of seven children, always attended his classes on time, sat up front and participated whenever necessary. His assignments were flawless and his exams used to be 100 percent passed. When the pandemic hit, he had to adapt to the use of new technologies. However, this did not stop him and instead of giving up, he asked a teacher and his grandchildren for help to continue his education.
After four long years, Don Osvaldo finished his studies in Law and did so with honors, becoming an example to follow.
In the midst of immense joy, Don Osvaldo Ojeda received the news that he had passed the last subject of the Law degree at the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences of the National University of the Northeast (UNNE).
He did it after an intense journey in Higher Education, with joys and sorrows, but always with the certainty of not abandoning the goal of receiving.
