A 67 -year -old man was executed in Florida yesterday with a deadly injection, having spent more than two -thirds of his life in prison waiting for his sentence to murder in the state. Kale Bates was sentenced to the final of the penalties in 1983 for the murder of Janet Rene White, 24. She kidnapped her to her workplace in Lynn Hiven, Florida, and stabbed her to death in a forest area, not far, in 1982. It was executed yesterday at 22:17 (local time; 01:17 today Greece time) in the Reyford state prison. This is the 29th man who was killed this year in the US.
