The new version of the Yoroi wallet for the Cardano blockchain expands NFT support and addresses transaction issues reported by users of previous versions.
Previously, Cardano NFT holders using this wallet reported problems with transfers and token visibility. Yoroi v4.7.300 solves these problems. In the new version, all NFTs can be transferred after a minimum ADA transaction to the user’s wallet. Now all tokens stored in the wallet are displayed in the “Assets” tab. This release also optimizes aspects of the transaction logic and design of the UTXO.
The wallet developers point out that security is a top priority. For added security, the wallet does not have a statistics tracking function. During the development, the main user scenarios were taken into account to make the interface comfortable. Currently, only the PC version is available, but a mobile app will be released soon.
However, developers still have room for improvement. There is a possibility that some NFT whales on Cardano may run into problems when transferring large amounts of tokens. For now, users are encouraged to split them into multiple transactions.
In 2018, the company released the first release of the Yoroi wallet for the Cardano mainnet. Teams from 7 universities were involved in its development and research of the Proof-of-stake method.
