You are on top, I am below: the first production of two-level car parks in Russia is launched

The Technodinamika holding announced the launch of the first Russian production of the MPS-100 system – a mechanized automatic parking designed to double the space in parking lots in shopping centers and residential buildings. The development allows two cars to be installed in one physical parking space, simply by lifting the first car that entered it on a special platform.

“The development will find application in underground parking lots of modern residential complexes, megamalls and business centers. The main advantage of this design is the ability to quickly increase the number of parking spaces in a limited area, for example, in an already constructed building. In Europe, such car parks have proven their convenience and are widely used. Undoubtedly, the development of Technodinamika will be in demand in large Russian megalopolises, where there is always a shortage of parking spaces, ”said Oleg Yevtushenko, executive director of Rostec, which includes Technodinamika.

The design of the MPS-100 is hermetically sealed, which prevents the ingress of various kinds of dirt (water, reagents and traces of gasoline) from the upper car to the lower one. The system is controlled using a special key. With a payload of up to 3,000 kg, it is compatible with vehicles up to 4,730 mm in length, up to 2,200 mm in width and up to 2,050 mm in height. The lifting time of the platform takes a minute, and the duration of the descent with the car on it is from 30 to 90 seconds (this is monitored by a special sensor). You can drive in both forward and reverse. The safety of the structure is guaranteed – the fall of the raised platform is prevented by several independent mechanisms at once.

One of the advantages of this system is modularity, which allows, like a designer, to combine products with each other to create two-level parking complexes.

MPS-100 has already passed factory tests and is completely ready for production. The introduction of such products is expected in 2022; first, it will appear in Moscow underground parking lots of modern residential complexes and business centers.
