the actor’s daughter Ray Liotta , who died in May of this year, posted a tribute to his father on Instagram. Karsen Liotta, 23, wrote:
“Those who knew him loved him,” she wrote in the caption of a photo. “You are the best father anyone could ask for. I love you. Thank you for everything.”
On May 26, Liotta he died at age 67 while sleeping. He was in the Dominican Republic filming his latest project, “Dangerous Waters”.
Karsen is the result of his marriage to his ex-wife Michelle Grace. Liotta was engaged to Jacy Nittolo.
The actor was known for his roles in “Field of Dreams” and Martin Scorcese’s mob classic “Goodfellas.”
In 2016, Liotta supported her daughter’s plans to act. He provided support during an “Absolute Radio” interview. “I believe that if this is what she wants to do, what am I going to do?” he said.
“It’s what you do and how you deal with that in-between time, which is what gets in the way of a lot of actors.”
