The Yandex team announced that its branded services began accepting payments through the Fast Payment System (FPS).
Thus, you can now pay using this method in Yandex.Market, Yandex.Food and Yandex.Lavka. Online payment via SBP allows you not to enter bank card details: just select your bank and pay in its mobile application.
In Yandex.Market, payment via SBP has another advantage: if you return goods from an order, the marketplace can immediately transfer the money for the purchase back. When paying by credit card, it usually takes up to three days for a refund. According to the developers, Yandex services add payment through the SBP gradually. Now you can pay in this way in the Market and Lavka mobile applications, as well as on the website and in the Food application. Soon payments via SBP will become available on these services for all platforms, and it will also be possible to pay in Taxi using the Yandex Go application.
Recall that SBP is a service of the Bank of Russia and the National Payment Card System that allows you to send money to other people and pay for goods and services, both online and offline. To pay for purchases through the SBP, a smartphone with a camera and a bank application is enough, which has the ability to pay in this way (NFC support in the phone is not needed for this).
