“You miss me?”; Watch Israeli child hostages meet family members

Emotional scenes as child hostages released by Hamas on Friday (24) under a temporary truce were reunited with their families, are circulating on the internet.

A video released by Schneider Children’s Medical Center shows 9-year-old Ohad Munder running towards his father Avi Zichri and receiving a big hug. He was released with his grandmother Ruth and mother Keren.

Another video released by the medical center shows Yoni Asher hugging his wife Doran and two daughters, Aviv and Raz.

Yoni asks his daughters in Hebrew “You missed me, yes? Did you think about daddy? Aviv you thought about daddy, yes? You thought good things about me, yes? What did mom say about me?

“We just came here for the doctor to check us and then we go home, but we packed lots of dolls and toys for you… All the people here bought you gifts, it’s all here.”

Other images from Schneider Medical Center show former hostages Daniel Aloni and his daughter Emilia smiling and hugging family members.

Daniel Aloni was among three women who appeared in a hostage video released by Hamas late last month.

She came to kibbutz Nir Oz to visit family and was kidnapped along with her daughter. Her sister Sharon Aloni-Cunio and other family members were also kidnapped and remain in Gaza, according to a Nir Oz spokesperson.

Another former hostage, Yafa Adar, was seen in images posted to Facebook by her family in hospital, hugging and smiling with a family member.

“She is here! The beautiful grandma is here!” said Adriana Adar on Facebook on Saturday.

Adar is one of the founders of kibbutz Nir Oz and is the oldest person to be taken hostage on October 7th.

A video of her being taken to Gaza in a golf cart driven by Hamas militants shortly after her kidnapping was widely shared, the Forum for Hostages and Missing Families said.

Adar’s eldest grandson, Tamir, a 38-year-old father of two, was also kidnapped and is still being held hostage, according to a Nir Oz spokesperson.

Another freed woman – Margalit Moses – was seen smiling in an image posted on Facebook by her family.

“Mommy is back!” Yair Moses posted on Facebook on Friday.
