“You stabbed me”: What the 11-year-old son of a father accused of double murder said

Ronnie Oneal allegedly killed his partner and their 9-year-old daughter, who suffered from cerebral palsy, and then stabbed their 8-year-old son before handing over their house to the flames in 2018.

The child escaped and testified Wednesday via video conference at court of his father. He is a prosecution witness in the horrific case.

When it was Oneal’s turn to examine the witness, he asked his son, “Did I hurt you that night?” “Yes,” replied the 11-year-old. “How did I hurt you?”, The accused lawyer returned, “you stabbed me”, his son answered without hesitation.

Oneal insists that the evidence presented by the prosecution is forged and fabricated. “I seem to be alone, but God Almighty supports me”, with such arguments he tries to defend himself.

The prosecutor claims that he will prove that Oneal shot his partner Kenyatta Barron, before beating her to death. Then he went to the other room and killed his daughter with a chopper, before stabbing his son.

He says he killed Barron in self-defense after she fatally attacked her children. The 11-year-old, however, confirms the prosecutor.

“The first words that came out of this brave boy were: ‘My dad killed my mom,'” prosecutor Scott Harmon told the court.

The audio recording of the mother’s phone call to the police, when he shot her, has also been submitted to the court.

If convicted, Oneal faces death penalty
