The security camera captured the nightmarish moments a 33-year-old woman experienced at his hands violent of his partner, who is seen grabbing her by the throat, screaming “you will die in my arms”. 40-year-old Christopher Forrest will spend more than two years in prison.
The attacks began when the woman returned from shopping. The fight broke out in the parking lot of their home in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, according to the British Daily Mail. The man grabbed her by the hair, pushed her against the wall and put his hands around her neck. He then threw her against the car, with the woman eventually falling to the ground.
Forrest also frequently logged into her social media accounts and accused her of cheating on him with other men.
In another burst of violence over the money, he grabbed her by the throat with both hands, attempting to strangle her. He then threatened her: “I don’t care if I go to jail, you will die in my arms.”
The terrified victim tried unsuccessfully to push him away and managed to scream that he couldn’t breathe, but the attack continued.
The shocking images were secretly captured on camera in the living room.
Forrest appeared in court and confessed to her abuse of his partner from 2017 to 2020. The courtroom was told the relationship had ended since 2017, but they were in contact over a property in Blantyre.
