All the good that we give in this life always comes back to us. Nanay and Tatay, originally from the Philippines, know this perfectly, who more than 25 years ago and regardless of their economic situation, adopted a three-month-old baby who was homeless.
Now that little boy is a successful adult who works hard to give back to his parents all the help and effort they did for him. His name is Jayvee Lazaro and he has just given his parents the house of their dreams, moving them to tears and leaving a great teaching for the whole world.
This beautiful story begins 26 years ago. Nanay and Tatay, originally from the Philippines, ended up a family, had two children and their economic situation was not at all favorable. Despite the circumstances, the couple could not refuse to adopt a baby who was stranded on the city streets.
The family went from having four members to having five, who lived in a house without electricity supply, water was scarce and space was extremely limited. To this is added that they did not always have food. However, the couple tried hard to get them to eat at least two meals a day and attend school so that they would have a better chance at life. And so it was, because today Jayvee is a successful businessman who works together with several multinationals and who thanks his adoptive parents for everything they did for him, even without sharing blood ties or having the responsibility of having done it.
Jayvee shared on his Facebook account a collage of photos with her adoptive parents and added a touching message:
When Nanay and Tatay adopted me, we weren’t leading a good life. Nanay is a salesperson, Tatay is a doorman. Now that I have the opportunity to give you back some of what you have given me, I am going to make sure that you live your dreams, more than you could ever imagine.
And he has done so, because the businessman has just given his parents a beautiful seven-room house, with brand new furniture. His brothers, nephews and adoptive parents live in the place, they have cleaning service and the fridge is full of food. In addition, he helps his siblings pay for the education of their nephews.
I paid for the house in cash and it was built in a year. It has seven rooms, and we didn’t bring anything from the previous place, except the TV that I bought for my family as a Christmas present earlier.
Jayvee also takes his parents on a world trip, wanting them to know all the wonders in it, have fun, and get all the love they deserve.
The businessman is an example of effort and humility, values that his adoptive family took care of sowing in his heart while they filled him with love and gave him all the security and affection he needed. Stories like this make us regain faith in humanity.
