According to Newyorkpost the police found the teenager unconscious and suffering from a serious head injury.
Authorities believe the boy had climbed to the top of the train and hit his head on an object.
Dramatic images show police and ambulances lifting the teenager from the roof of the train car and lying him on his platform subway.
The teenager’s head was bleeding profusely and he was rushed to the hospital, where he is being treated in critical condition.
The boy’s tragic accident is the second in less than two weeks, caused by the dangerous game.
