Young millionaire declares: I park my car wherever I want, black people care about fines

A young millionaire says he parks his expensive car wherever he wants and that’s because fines aren’t something he cares about… 27-year-old Luke Desmaris has racked up over 100 summonses in the last year for leaving his BMW M4 wherever he wants in Londoneven in places where parking is strictly prohibited.

“Unaffiliated people see fines, but I see VIP parking”Desmaris said in an interview with Kennedy News on Wednesday.

The brash Brit says he has paid more than $8,100 in fines in the past 12 months – a sum that is no big deal to him as he makes more than a million a year as a stockbroker.

Desmaris said he prefers to “save time” and park in places where it is prohibited than to go around in circles looking for a suitable spot for his car.

“If I can save time by doing it, then I’ll do it,” he says. “It means I can get home quicker and get to work. That’s my logic.”

“I do when I go shopping, especially in London. I just park outside because it can be a nightmare to park any other way,” he continues. “I started with a few calls every now and then and since I started doing well (including financially), it doesn’t matter. Money doesn’t matter.”

Last month, Desmaris boasted of the TikTok for the tactics he follows in parking, with the controversial video garnering over 3 million views. In this video he appears to return to his illegally parked BMW and the calls are on the windshield.

Demaris was described as “bad taste” by some with someone even calling the millionaire a “fraudster”. “You can always tell a con man by how much he talks about money. Wealth is implicit when you already have it. Scammers are noisy because they need to be,” the commenter wrote.

But he is not deterred by the negative comments: “People have a lot to say on the internet, but in person it’s different. And at the end of the day, I don’t care,” says the 27-year-old.

Others seem to have agreed with the BMW owner’s practice.

“In Central London it’s cheaper to pay a parking fine than to pay for a day’s parking,” one commented.
