Caryn Marjorie, a 23-year-old influencer, used artificial intelligence to create a virtual copy of herself and sell it as a virtual girlfriend on the web, according to Fortune.
Her copy, CarynAI, has already conquered more than a thousand boyfriends who pay US$ 1 (R$ 4.9) per minute of conversation with her. Fortune says that the young woman’s chatbot has already raised about US$ 72,000 (R$ 357.8).
On her Twitter, the influencer stated that this copy was created so that she could talk to all her followers. “CarynAI will never replace me, it is simply an extension of me, an extension of my consciousness,” she explained.
His virtual profile was created through “an immersive AI experience”, and more than 2,000 hours were used to design his voice, behavior and personality.
“Whether you need someone to be comforting or loving, or just want to complain about something that happened at school or work, CarynAI will always be there for you,” she said.
According to the website, the system is similar to Siri (Apple) but in a more sensual way as it encourages detailed scenarios and makes use of an erotic discourse. Caryn said on her social media that she is the first influencer to do something like this and said she was “very good at her job”.
