YPAAT: € 4.6 million for irrigation project of DEYA Thermi Thessaloniki

Irrigation project that provides a solution to the irrigation problem of Thessaloniki, budget 4,609,191.60 euros, including VAT. promoted by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.

In particular, in the pre-approval of the declaration with which the implementation process of the 1st sub-project begins: “ENERGY SAVING AND LEAK CONTROL OF IRRIGATION NETWORKS DEYA THERMIS N. THESSALONIKI 4 0011438137 of the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2014 – 2020 of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, the Secretary General proceeded. Union Resources and Infrastructure of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, following instructions from the Minister Mr. Georgios Georgantas and the Deputy Minister Mr. Georgios Stylios.

With the implementation of the project: “ENERGY SAVING AND LEAK CONTROL OF IRRIGATION DEVA THERMI THESSALONIKI”, the quality of the provided irrigation services will be upgraded, ensuring:
– Adequacy of water quantity
Adequate water pressure
– Optimal water quality

Also, the required supply will be ensured, minimizing losses and maximizing proper water management.

The proposed physical object of the act includes:
– Supply, installation and commissioning of 27 Local Irrigation Stations (TSA) and 93 Measuring Points of supply (closed) Pipeline (SMP) for the monitoring of all critical parameters (supply, pressure, level) in the infrastructure of the irrigation network DEYA THERMIS. Through these stations there will be monitoring of network losses, additional data will be provided for the more accurate calculation of the water balance and the Technical Service of DEYA. Thermis will lead to its more efficient operation, drastically reducing the cost of water wastage.

Supply, installation and commissioning of a Central Control Station in DEYA THERMIS. At the Central Control Station, all the necessary works and installations of equipment and software of the remote control-remote control system will be done, as well as the integration of the Local Control Stations and the electronic water mouths in a single signal reception base.

Supply, installation and commissioning of two telemetric Agro-meteorological Stations in order to facilitate the transition from the conventional form of farm management to precision agriculture and mainly in the field of irrigation to save irrigation water.

Supply, installation and commissioning of 407 electronic orifices that will cover all the existing orifices of the irrigation network for the accurate measurement of each water intake.

– Test operation of the entire system, as well as its smooth and trouble-free operation for a period of three (3) months, from the date of its commissioning and on a twenty-four hour basis, with simultaneous observance of the control, measurement and maintenance programs, which will be delivered in the Service and

– Training of the staff of the Service during the 3-month test operation in the operation, maintenance, repairs and maintenance of measurement programs, etc. of the supply, as well as its supply with the corresponding complete programs, books, manuals, spare parts lists and instructions for proper, orderly and long-term operation of the system.

The announcement for the auction date of the project will be made in March 2022.

The project is funded by measure 4.3.1 of the Rural Development Program (PAA 2014 – 2020), implemented by the General Secretariat of Union Resources and Infrastructure.

The implementation of PAA With the establishment of the new General Secretariat and the new instructions given by the Minister Georgios Georgantas and the competent Undersecretary Georgios Stylios, it is accelerated.
