A total of 338 inspections were carried out during the period from 06.12.2021 to 12.12.2021 in the context of the activity of the Inter-Service Market Control Unit (DIMEA) to deal with illegal trade throughout the territory.
61 violations related to illegal trade were confirmed, as announced by the Ministry of Development & Investment. Particularly:
-In collaboration with the Hellenic Police, the Audit Service of the Customs of Thessaloniki (ELYT), the AADE (in Komotini, Xanthi and Thessaloniki) and with the Municipal Police of Thessaloniki, the companies of DI.M.E.A. to combat illegal trade took place in Attica, Peloponnese, Eastern Macedonia – Thrace and Central Macedonia.
– They were imposed fines totaling € 358,250, for violations of the Rules for the Distribution and Trade of Services Products (Rules of DIEPPY), of law 4712/2020 concerning the amendment of article 11 of law 3377/2005 Administrative sanctions for dealing with the illegal trafficking of counterfeit / counterfeit products and the law. 4446/16 concerning the use of card acceptance terminal and means of payment by card (POS).
38,184 pieces of counterfeit items were confiscated, of which 37,978 pieces were sold by online stores (eshop).
20,353 items were confiscated and destroyed industrial products and used items (no name).
