The Ministry of Finance, guided by the compensation and support of the victims of the earthquakes of October 30, 2020 and March 3, 2021, proceeded today, January 27, 2022 to a new payment of compensation to the beneficiaries of State Aid, as announced.
In particular, a total amount of 1,873,216.04 euros was credited to the accounts of 304 beneficiaries as an advance on housing assistance.
The beneficiaries will see the credit in the accounts they have declared in myAADE (myaade.gov.gr) until the evening, depending on the credit flows of each bank.
This is the third round of disbursement after the opening of the arogi.gov.gr platform, on December 17, 2021, for our fellow citizens who were affected by the two aforementioned earthquakes. Other rounds of credit will follow in order to provide first aid to eligible applicants.
The total amount of aid paid for this purpose, to date, amounts to 6,223,453.11 euros and concerns 891 beneficiaries.
It is recalled that, after a recent amendment of the decision for the provision of first aid against housing assistance to support the victims of the earthquake of October 30, 2020 in Samos and the earthquake of March 3, 2021, the property measure affected also includes the affected property owners. from the above earthquakes and is located in areas of the Peripheral Units of Pieria of the Region of Central Macedonia, Grevena and Kozani of the Region of Western Macedonia, Karditsa, Larissa and Trikala of the Region of Thessaly and Fthiotida of the Region of Central Greece. In addition, the deadline for submitting applications for first aid for housing assistance to property owners affected by the aforementioned earthquakes has been extended, for all beneficiaries, until next Monday, January 31, 2022.
The applications are submitted through the platform https://arogi.gov.gr/, which operates with the support of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE), accompanied by the relevant Property Re-inspection Report or the Autopsy Report or the Protocol of Dangerous Risk of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
The application can be submitted for up to one property per phenomenon and in particular for the property for which an application for housing assistance has been submitted or is to be submitted to the competent Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. In the case of a residence, the application may relate to a residence, the main residence, and if a relevant application for housing assistance has been or will be submitted to the competent Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
Extraordinary lump sum assistance against housing assistance is not granted in cases where the provision of housing assistance has already been approved by the competent department of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
The amount of aid amounts to up to 14,000 euros for housing assistance to building owners affected by the above earthquakes, depending on the severity of the damage, as shown by the co-submitted data issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

For the payment of financial aid, the beneficiaries need to have declared their account number (IBAN) at myAADE (myaade.gov.gr).
