For another month, the reduced price of 15 cents per liter for diesel will apply.
According to a decision signed by the Minister of Finance Christos Staikouras and the Deputy Minister of Finance Theodoros Skylakakis, the subsidy for diesel oil is extended for May as well.
The amount of the subsidy remains at the amount of 0.12 euros before VAT per liter of diesel.
In particular, as mentioned in the decision published in the Government Gazette, the validity of the joint decision 44010 EX 2022 / 1.4.2022 (Β ‘1540) of the Ministers of Finance, Development and Investment and Environment and Energy “Granting of diesel allowance” is extended by its expiration for a period of one (1) month, ie until May 31, 2022. The amount of the subsidy remains at the amount of 0.12 euros before VAT per liter of diesel. With VAT the subsidy reaches 15 cents per liter.
