Zachxbt: Cryptoinfluensers do not advertise their advertising posts

More than 200 bloggers-influensers hid from their subscribers the fact of promoting crypto projects for money, an anonymous crypto detective ZachXBT said.

ZachXBT found more than 200 accounts, the owners of which concluded transactions on the promotion of digital assets in social networks. The cost of posts varied from several hundred dollars to five -digit amounts. The blockchain-mushroom established that only five accounts from the total number indicated that their posts were sponsored by any cryptocurrency company.

Hidden advertising can mislead potential investors and contribute to the artificial increase in prices for garbage tokens, Zachxbt is sure.

The cryptoanalyst said that the list of influenses published by him concerns only one project, but it can already be judged by the scale of hidden advertising publications. According to Zachxbt, most of the detected accounts are relatively new or have a very dubious origin.

“Most are the“ last generation of cryptototvitter ”or are accounts full of bots,” Zachxbt announced.

Earlier, the Agency for the Regulation of the Activities of Financial Institutes of the United States (Finra) stated that about 70% of cryptocurrency advertisements violate the rules on honest and balanced advertising.
