Zakharova: Russian side expects to hear Greek views on ‘indivisible security’

At the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Greece and Russia on February 18 in Moscow, a detailed exchange of views on the international and regional agenda is expected, with emphasis on the Russian proposals on the issues of “indivisible security”, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Minister Maria Zakharova announcing the meeting of Nikos Dendias with Sergei Lavrov in Moscow.

“Our country’s approaches were extensively stated in the letter of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry S. Lavrov to the heads of foreign ministers of a number of countries, including Greece, from January 28 this year. We expect the reaction of our Greek partners,” said M. during the regular weekly briefing of Russian journalists and foreign correspondents.

The two ministers, the Russian representative noted, will discuss the implementation of the agreements reached in the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during their meeting in Sochi on December 8, 2021, as well as during his telephone conversation.
