Zanin’s sister says she had bruises on her legs and that dogs bleed after being attacked

The lawyer Caroline Zanin sister of the minister Cristiano Zanin from the Federal Supreme Court (STF), told the police that he had bruises on his legs and that his dogs were bleeding after being attacked on Monday (16).

According to the incident report, to which the CNN had access, Caroline reported that she was returning from an afternoon walk with two dogs and, when she was preparing to enter the condominium where she lives, in the neighborhood of Perdizes, West Zone of São Paulo, a man approached her and said he would kick her and animals.

Images from the condominium’s security cameras recorded the moment in which the man approaches and tries to kick the dogs on at least six occasions. One of those kicks hits Caroline’s leg. Afterwards, he leaves. (See the video above).

In the report made to the police, the lawyer said that she screamed for the condominium security guard to help her, but did not have time to prevent the attacks.

The attacker, identified by authorities as Rogério Cardoso Júnior, aged 64, was called to appear at a police station this Wednesday (18), but by 3pm he had not gone to provide clarification.

The businessman was located inside his own apartment, which is in the same neighborhood as the victim. In conversation with the police, he confirmed the facts described in the police report.

According to investigation sources, informally, Júnior said that he kicked the lawyer’s dogs, as he had been bitten by the animals moments before.

Rogério Cardoso has no criminal record. A CNN He tries to contact the sales representative to obtain a position, but has not yet received a response.

Caroline Zanin was also contacted, but did not return the contacts made by the report.

Wanted by CNN, the STF only reported that the case is being handled by the São Paulo police.
