Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski said today that he has asked the Minister of Defense intensifying contacts with the US to ensure decisive traditions of military material, in particular for the country’s anti -aircraft defense shielding. “Today, I have commissioned the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff to intensify contacts with the US side,” Zelenski said in a video message released tonight, in the aftermath of yesterday’s statements by US President Donald. “At the moment we have all the necessary statements and decisions at the political level and we must implement them as soon as possible to protect our citizens and positions … These are traditions of decisive importance, as they relate to the salvation of lives and the protection of Ukrainian cities and communities,” President Zelenski said.
