Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski “shed light” on the content of his discussion with US President Donald Trump during their meeting on the sidelines of Pope Francis’ funeral, stating that they had spoken about systems. In comments released by the Ukrainian Presidency, Zelenski also said that the US president agreed that a 30 -day ceasefire between Kiev and Moscow is the right first step towards ending the war in Ukraine. He said he was raising the issue of sanctions with Trump at the improvised meeting last week and that Trump’s answer to the question was “very strong”. Zelenski did not specialize.
