Zelensky announces launch of participatory funding campaign to help Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced today that a participatory financing platform set up on the Internet to help Kyiv win the war against Russia and rebuild the country’s infrastructure has been launched.

“With one click, you can raise funds to help our defenders, save our civilians and rebuild Ukraine,” Zelensky said in English in a video posted on Twitter announcing that he had joined operation of the United24 platform.

“All funds will be transferred to the National Bank of Ukraine and distributed to the relevant ministries,” the Ukrainian president added, adding that reports on the allocation of funds would be made public “every 24 hours”.
