Zelensky: Bombing of Donetsk prison ‘willful Russian war crime’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called the bombing of a prison in the eastern part of his country, which killed “more than 50” prisoners of war, a “deliberate Russian war crime”.

At least 18 civilians dead in 48 hours

More than 18 civilians have been killed and several others wounded in the past two days during hostilities in Ukraine, local officials said.

Two deaths were reported in the city of Kharkiv and another five in Mykolife, where a bus stop was bombed, according to local authorities.

In pro-Russian-controlled areas, separatists yesterday claimed one death and 28 civilian injuries from Ukrainian shelling.
