Zelensky calls for an investment of 5 billion euros to the EU for artillery

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky asked the European Union allies on Thursday to approve a package of at least 5 billion euros ($ 5.4 billion) for Kiev artillery purchases and called for continuous pressure on Russia.

Speaking at the Video EU summit, Zelensky also said he was “simply anti-europeu when a person blocks important decisions for the entire continent,” referring to the opposition of Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban to EU statements in support of Ukraine.

Zelensky also insisted that Moscow was responsible for violating a US-sponsored limited ceasefire to stop attacks on energy infrastructure by attacking Ukrainian facilities.

The Ukraine leader added that the offer of a 30-day unconditional ceasefire was still at the table and accused Russian President Putin of being responsible for the continuous struggle.
