THE Ukraine has only 10% of the air defense systems it needs pointed out Volodymyr Zelensky and ruled out diplomatic contacts with Russia.
Speaking at a question-and-answer session at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Zelensky emphasized that diplomacy is not possible with leaders who do not respect international law.
At the same time, the Ukrainian president pointed out, according to APE-MPE, that the situation in the regions of his province Kharkiv in the eastern part of the country that have been liberated from the Russian army are “just as horrible” as the one that prevailed in Irpin and Butsa, where mass graves had been found. Zelensky did not provide further details.
Finally, he estimated that Moscow should be forced to comply with the requests by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to demilitarize the area around the Zaporizhia nuclear power plantwhich is under Russian control.
