THE Volodymyr Zelensky publicly thanked sending Poland and Lithuania military aid to Ukraine and asked other countries to copy their example.
In his statements on Polish public television (TVP), Zelenski described as “strategically important” the acquisition of Leopard tanks from Polandunderlining that “someone must always lead by example” and expressing the hope that “other countries may follow in the footsteps of Poland and Lithuania”.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the president of Ukraine received in Lviv his counterparts from Poland Andriy Duda and Lithuania Gitana Nauseda.
The Polish president informed Zelenskiy of Warsaw’s decision to deliver Leopard tanks to Ukraine, while his Lithuanian counterpart announced that the Vilnius will strengthen the Ukrainian army with anti-aircraft weapon systems.
