Ukraine’s defense lines withstand Russian attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his latest video on Thursday, adding that there was no respite from Moscow’s bombing of Ukraine at midnight, according to Reuters.
“We have nothing to lose but our freedom,” Zelensky said, adding that Ukraine receives daily arms supplies from its international allies.
He also said that two years have passed since Ukraine recorded the first case of coronavirus: “It has been a week now that another virus has attacked,” he said, referring to the Russian invasion.
Zelensky noted that Russia’s change of tactics and the bombing of civilians in cities show that Ukraine has successfully resisted Moscow’s original plan to claim a quick victory through a ground offensive.
