Zelensky participates in the debate on the last day of the G7 on the situation in Ukraine

The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, participates in a debate this Sunday (21), the last day of the G7 summit, in Hiroshima, Japan, on the situation of his country, at war with Russia since its territory was invaded in February 2022.

There is an expectation that the G7 meeting will end with a tough stance against the Kremlin and in defense of the Ukrainians.

Zelensky posed for a photo with G7 leaders, including Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and US President Joe Biden.

Thereafter, he also attended a session on peace and stability with the leaders of guest countries such as India and Brazil.

Immediately after arriving in Hiroshima the day before, Zelensky met with the leaders of several countries and discussed assistance to the invaded country, including with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, who is close to Russia.

Also this Sunday, the leaders of invited countries, such as India and Brazil, visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum along with Prime Minister Kishida.

The G7 member countries visited the museum on Saturday morning (20th), local time, which would be Friday night (19th) at Brasilia time.
