Zelensky: territorial issue is “complicated” and should be discussed later

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday (15) that the issue of territory in the war with Russia was “complicated” and should be discussed in detail in the future.

He made the comment during a press conference in Kiev, during which he again said that Ukraine would never recognize occupied territory as Russian and did not know exactly what the authorities of the United States and Russia discussed during recent conversations in Moscow.

United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Strmer said on Saturday that European nations and western allies were intensifying preparations to support Ukraine if a peace agreement was closed with Russia, with defense heads by signing “robust plans” next week.

Starmer has organized a virtual meeting to gain allied support to increase pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin to accept a US President Donald Trump’s ceasefire agreement, and to gather appointments to help secure any agreement-something Trump made it clear that he expects Europe to take over.
