Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that the kidnapping of the general director of the nuclear plant in Ukraine’s Russian-held Zaporizhia province was an act of Russian terrorism.
“It is yet another act of Russian terrorism, for which this terrorist state must pay with ever-increasing punishment,” the head of the Ukrainian state emphasized in his televised message.
Russian patrols arrested Ihor Murasov on Friday, the Ukrainian state company that runs the plant said, while the International Atomic Energy Agency later said Russia had confirmed the news.
On the developments on the military front, Mr. Zelensky noted that Ukrainian successes are not limited to Liman.
“The story of Liman’s release in the Donetsk region has become the most well-known and popular in the media. However, the successes of our soldiers are not limited there,” he concluded, without giving further details
