Ukraine is working to arrange a meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and US President Donald Trump. But there is no date yet, Zelenskiy said on Tuesday.
“The teams have been working on a meeting, they are currently in the process,” Zelenskiy said in a panel interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Zelensky has also said he will not agree to Russian demands to drastically reduce the size of its military forces in a future peace deal.
The Ukrainian leader stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin would demand that Ukraine reduce its military fivefold.
“That’s what he wants. We will not allow this to happen,” Zelenskiy said.
