Zelensky: Will participate in a teleconference at the NATO Summit

THE Volodymyr Zelensky is going to take part in its Summit NATO, via video conference, even if Ukraine is not a member of the Atlantic Alliance. This participation is allowed due to war in Ukraine which, according to Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, “a special working session will be dedicated to Ukraine.”

“You have to understand the extreme conditions, of absolute complexity, regarding the entry or exit (from Ukraine) of President Zelensky,” he told reporters.

In fact, according to the French Agency, Jose Manuel Albares assured that “the Madrid summit will give a picture of Euro-Atlantic unitywhich “is the best response to Russia’s illegal attack on Ukraine.”

It is noted that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said last week that Zelensky was going to attend the upcoming Alliance summit. but without mentioning what form this participation would take. “He is welcome in person or by video conference,” Stoltenberg said.

Invited by German Chancellor Olaf Solz, Zelensky is also expected to attend a teleconference at the G7 summit in Bavaria on Sunday through Tuesday, amid intense diplomatic mobility following the summit of European leaders in Brussels. is expected to grant Ukraine candidate status for EU membership shortly before the NATO summit.
