“I think someone with charisma is… Mr. Tom Holland,” she said in an interview with Buzzfeed, which was published this Thursday (22). This was a rare moment when the actress spoke about her boyfriend.
The “Dune” star said that Holland has more “rizz” than her because, believe it or not, she is “shy and kind of quiet.” Because of this, Zendaya said, “I need to make an effort to be more outgoing, but he's great at talking to people and getting to know people.”
“You see him on talk shows and things like that, but he's naturally very good at it. I definitely have to work on that,” he added.
The actress, who became known for “Euphoria,” certainly knows this about her partner, as they have been dating since 2017. Although they keep their romance private, every now and then they give a peek into their relationship to fans in interviews and on social media.
Holland, when asked in June in an interview with Buzzfeed about the secret to his “rizz”, he himself felt “limited” in this area. “I need you to fall in love with me for this to work,” said Holland, arguing that any charisma he may have is only seen on screen when he interacts with a romantic partner.
Regarding dating, he added: “I'm dating and happy and in love, so I don't have time for this 'rizz'”, he added.
Whether or not Holland feels the need to be charismatic in his relationship with Zendaya probably doesn't even matter. According to her, he doesn't even need to try: “He has this natural gift.”
