The Zumbi dos Palmares University launched this Friday (17th) a partnership with the Liga das Escolas de Samba and the União das Escolas de Samba Paulistanas (Uesp) that will offer 60 scholarships to members of the samba schools in São Paulo.
As disclosed in an event held at the university, the scholarships will be for courses in administration and advertising. Applications must be made by March 17th and the selection process will be online. For the best placed, the scholarship will be 100%.
According to the institution’s Marketing manager, Érida Luciana de Oliveira, “the university has always been concerned and willing to help train samba people”. “[O objetivo é] To constitute a space where we can unite education and samba and contribute to the management of these spaces to be increasingly welcoming and inclusive.”
