10 FUN FACTS: TEN CURIOSITIES YOU DID NOT KNOW ABOUT REGÉ-JEAN PAGE

A few days ago, unfortunately, the news arrived that none of us would have ever wanted to receive: our beloved Regé-Jean Page aka Duke of Hastings will not be featured in the second season of Bridgerton. Although, who has read the 8 books of the saga that inspired the series on the air Netflix, he already knew that he would no longer be among the main protagonists.

But fear not dear fans of Regé-Jean Page, because the actor has no plans to move away from the camera and is now aiming for Hollywood. In fact, we will soon see him both in the thriller The Grey Man (with Ryan Gosling e Chris Evans) than in the live action of Dungeons & Dragons. Not only that: according to rumors, he could be the face of the new James Bond. 1. BORN IN LONDON BUT GROWN IN ZIMBABWE

The son of a nurse originally from the African state and a British preacher, he spent his childhood in Harare and is back in Europe at age 14 to complete their studies. In an interview, he said he found it stimulating to have grown up in a place that is not really “the center of the world”.

2. STUDIED AT THE DRAMA CENTER IN LONDON

He graduated in 2013. The school of dramatic arts in the English capital is among the most prestigious in the world: on its benches, actors of the caliber of Emilia Clarke, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan e Luke Evans.

3. HE BEGAN HIS CAREER AS AN ACTOR IN THEATER

In 2011, at the age of 21, he made his debut on the stage by playing on the stages of some of the most important theaters in Europe. He starred in The Days of Rage, The History Boys and The Merchant of Venice at the Globe Theater with Jonathan Pryce.

Knowing how difficult it is for others to pronounce it correctly, in a tweet he made it clear that his name is not read in French, but that Regé pronounced with the guttural of reggae.

He revealed that the workouts were very strenuous, but certainly among the best moments on the set.

10. He is engaged and living together
