Although surely the failed ones have a healthier love life because this saga marked an entire generation to believe that the most toxic behaviors were romantic gestures. When Bella Swan and Edward first meet in class, he is the rudest person in the world. He could literally walk out of the classroom, that is, if you have already passed the same subject more than 30 times, why are you really worried about failing?

When Edward leaves Bella (in the middle of the woods in case it wasn’t clear), Jacob is the only person there for her. Later, when he returns, he is the most jealous guy in the world and forbids her to see him under the pretext that he is dangerous.

This point is more than anything to complain about cringe what it was like to hear that sweet phrase of the lion and the sheep. Seriously, someone should ban Stephenie Meyer from writing again.
14. He likes to dominate based on fear
Edward Cullen is a man who doesn’t take no for an answer. For everything he wants to have the last word and intimidating is his way of solving everything. Bella was in an abusive relationship and we didn’t want to find out.
15. He literally claims to be unreliable.
Throughout the saga, Edward keeps repeating that he is not a trustworthy person and that he should never have allowed Bella near him. Honestly, if someone showed up like that with us, we’d turn right away.
