The second edition of “Coffee with God the Father” (Vélos publisher), by the pastor Junior Rostirola is the best-selling book of 2024 – so far. According to a survey by Publishnews, prepared based on consultations with more than 30 bookstore chains in the country, there were more than 181 thousand copies.
The number is 3.7 times larger than the sales of the second placed, “This is how it ends” (Galera Record). The work of Colleen Hoover published in 2018 in Brazil and adapted for the cinema this year, registered 49.6 thousand copies sold this year.
The titles will double again in 2023. Last year, they occupied the same place: “Coffee with God the Father” at the time published by Editora Vida, sold over 90 thousand copies, and “This is how it ends” from Galera Record, 83 thousand.
