Three people were shot dead and at least 11 were injured in a shooting on Saturday night (4) in Philadelphia (United States). The victims who died are two men and a woman.
According to the television channel WPVI-TV, the Philadelphia Police Department went to South Street where, according to an agent, a person started shooting at a crowd.
When they arrived at the scene, agents saw several people shooting – not just one suspect. One of the officers shot one of the suspects, but it is not known if he was hit, as the criminal dropped his weapon and fled, Inspector Pace said at a press conference.
“You can imagine there were hundreds of people on South Street, as they do every weekend, when the shooting started,” the agent said.
No one was arrested, but at least two weapons were recovered at the scene of the attack. Police are investigating the case with images and recordings of the scene to try to reach the suspects of the attack.
