The MIUI firmware code reveals new details about the promising Xiaomi Thor and Loki smartphones. The Loki is reportedly a version of the Thor, while the Thor is a variant of the model codenamed Zeus. Zeus will be released under the commercial designation Xiaomi 12 Pro. Hence the assumption that one of the smartphones will be called Xiaomi 12 Ultra (Loki), the other – Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced Edition (Thor).
Both will be built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC, and both will have quad cameras. The resolution of the main sensor will be 50 megapixels, it is expected that Samsung ISOCELL GN5, presented not so long ago, will act in its role. The other three sensors will be 48MP. One will be paired with a 2x zoom lens, the other with a 5x telephoto lens, and the third with a 10x telephoto lens. Obviously, one of them will function as a macro lens, but where the ultra-wide-angle lens will go is the question.
According to rumors, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced Edition will be exclusive to the home market, while the Xiaomi 12 Ultra should receive a worldwide registration.
