Samsung unveiled two new low-cost Galaxy A series smartphones last night – Galaxy A22 and Galaxy A22 5G. And each model has its own interesting features. But let’s start with generalities: both are running Android 11, equipped with side-mounted fingerprint scanners, and 5,000mAh batteries with support for 15W charging.
Galaxy A22 received a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a frame rate of 90 Hz. The hardware platform is MediaTek Helio G80, and the memory sizes are 4/64 and 6/128 GB.
The main camera is represented by four modules, the main one uses a 48 megapixel sensor, a lens with an aperture of F / 1.8 and an optical image stabilization system. It can be paired with 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM. The flash memory is 64 GB or 128 GB.
The main camera has three sensors, and the main one with a resolution of 48 megapixels no longer has optical stabilization. A 5MP sensor is connected to the ultra-wide-angle lens, and the third 2MP sensor is used to analyze the depth of the scene. The front camera uses an 8 megapixel sensor.
The Galaxy A22 5G also has a standard headphone jack and NFC module. The dimensions and weight of the smartphone are 167.2 x 76.4 x 9.0 mm and 203 grams.
