In total, 52 schools in Rio de Janeiro will be without classes this Tuesday (3) due to shootings recorded in different regions of the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
Residents of the city’s north and west zones are suffering from shootings. In Complexo da Maré, in the north zone, the Military Police are carrying out an operation to combat territorial disputes in the region. In Vila Kennedy, located in the west zone, the exchange of gunfire took place between rival factions.
According to information from the Municipal Department of Education, 37 schools were impacted in Maré, and 15 were affected in Vila Kennedy.
