TCL Huaxing has officially announced a 75-inch TV screen for 8K 265Hz a-Si 4Mask 1G1D TVs. The company unveiled its first generation of 8K 1G1D technology last year, but the new 2021 technology marks a milestone in terms of image quality, refresh rate and manufacturing process.
The manufacturer claims that the next generation 8K 1G1D technology uses high-performance H-HVA, 4Mask and HCC technologies to create the highest-definition display with a huge refresh rate. Most 8K TVs support 120Hz refresh rates, so 265Hz is the industry’s highest refresh rate.
In addition, TCL Huaxing large technology development team has refined the pixel architecture design, the H-HVA transmittance has increased by 10% over the previous generation.
TCL also announced the world’s first 85-inch 8K 120Hz LCD display based on IGZO technology at the 2021 World Display Industry Conference. It has a contrast ratio of over 5000: 1, and its power consumption is 30% lower than comparable products with the same characteristics.
