What do they study at the Faculty of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency?
As part of the program, students will master blockchain technologies and how to use them. Now students can get acquainted with cryptocurrencies, security principles in this area, the development and architecture of blockchain applications, as well as the creation of smart contracts.
The list of academic disciplines also includes the study of the cryptocurrency market, as well as analysis of aspects in the cryptocurrency space and the use of blockchain. The faculty will also study such disciplines as software development technology, web service development, Java language, programming in C++, chat bots and neural networks, robotization, cryptocurrency mining and big data processing, artificial intelligence systems, software development in Python and information systems administration.
It is expected that experts from the blockchain industry will also teach separate disciplines that will immerse students in the practice-oriented component of blockchain processes.
Blockchain engineers from MIPT
This year, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) graduated nine blockchain engineers. This training program was launched in 2019 in partnership with Norilsk Nickel. The full-time master’s program was developed for students who are interested in learning the latest technologies – blockchain.
It is known that the master’s program has become a full-fledged training program within MIPT in the field of IT. The program included game theory and tokenomics, the connection of blockchain technologies with economics, law and other areas.
