Two missing persons were finally found dead floods in Spainwhich have caused a lot of damage in several areas.
Rescuers found the bodies near the town of Aldea de Fresno where the Alberce River overflowed on Sunday.
THE Jose Manuel Aguado, 83 years oldwas swept away by strong currents near his home in Vijayamanda, while one middle-aged man named Manuel Lopez was missing after the car he was traveling in with his family plunged into the river on Sunday night.
Lopez’s wife and daughter were rescued the same night while his 10-year-old son, according to media reports, was found alive after spending the night stuck in a tree.
THE his wife, whose name is Monica Navarro as she said in a Facebook post, she thanked the rescue services for saving her and her two children, saying it helped “my broken heart start beating again”.
At least five people died when torrential rain swept across large parts of Spain on Sunday and Monday. The provinces of Toledo, where one woman remains missing, and Madrid suffered the greatest damage.
