Polish studio CD Projekt RED together with Netflix announced something very unexpected for all fans of the “Witcher” universe.
Sometime this year, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release a major expansion pack that will include improved graphics and a few small additions inspired by the Netflix series. The update will be available free of charge to owners of the original game, but it won’t be making its way to past generation consoles. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
As for the improved graphics, the game will include ray tracing, faster loading and other improvements.
It is possible that such an amazing event for a single-player story game six years ago would not have taken place if it were not for the situation with Cyberpunk 2077. After all, now on Steam, much less players play in the last brainchild of Poles than in the cult game about Geralt of Rivia.
