A Måneskin look: our shopping tips

Beautiful, talented, rebellious and unashamedly sexy. The Måneskin, branded Etro, first conquered Italy, winning at Sanremo 2021, then Europe, at the Eurovision, and now they are ready to be loved by the whole globe. No wonder their cover of the song Beggin’, hit dated 1967 by the Four Seasons, has flown to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, that cult brands like Gucci court them as exceptional testimonials – see under Gucci Aria – and that their agenda is full of commitments.

On October 27th they performed at The Bowery Ballroom in New York, on November 1st they filled The Roxy Theater in West Hollywood in Los Angeles, on the 6th they opened the Rolling Stones concert in Las Vegas.
Between a musical engagement and the other we saw them guests on the Hall of Fame for the Love Parade of Gucci – show in Los Angeles for the brand’s 100th anniversary – together with international stars of the caliber of Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus, and even sat on the coveted armchairs of the Tonight Show by Jimmy Fallon to present their album.

But the Måneskin are to be commended with a Mammamia, as the frontman Damiano intones in their latest hit (and of which there is a really cool merchandising), also for their look, created ad hoc by stylist Nick Cerioni – rock’n’roll but with a genuinely flavor at the turn of the sixties and the Seventies.

If you want to emulate the look of Damiano, Victoria, Thomas and Ethan, here you will need a pair of flared trousers – their favorites are made in Italy, by the Shaft Jeans brand – transparent tops, jewels with pearls, masculine-cut leather blazers and ankle boots with square toe.

We took care of recreating their latest looks, with shopping ideas that are hyper trendy for fall 2021. Because, if it is true, as the musician Little Steven says, that Måneskin are bringing rock back to the world mainstream, it is equally true that they are instilling in Italians the desire for a new collective, free and genderless way of dressing. As Damiano would say, “rock’n’roll never die”, in life as well as in the wardrobe.
