Chinese phone maker Oppo will soon release ColorOS 12, a new version of its proprietary smartphone skin based on the Android 12 operating system.
Today, the official Oppo Weibo page has confirmed that the details of the ColorOS 12 firmware will be published tomorrow. A teaser was also posted with a clock that shows 12 o’clock.
According to available information, ColorOS 12 will support “inter-screen connection” function, loading Windows plugins, as well as instant connection, file transfer between devices, clipboard sharing, sync screenshots and sync messages. Other features will also be added over time.
According to a post from Digital Chat Station, the upcoming ColorOS 12 shell has significant changes to the system-level user interface design, it will take the HydrogenOS as a basis, and will also use the visual elements of Flyme and MIUI.
